Hammersmith (GE-level 4) did a very good job today. We were learning how to write powerful and interesting sentences. It all started with this following super boring story about a bird who emigrated from Singapore to Bandung. Students in Hammersmith turned the story around and making it more interesting to read. Enjoy!
Ps: It would be real nice if the students had posted their work under their own names, but we didn't have enough time.
Hungry Bird
The bird flew down the road. He was
very hungry and tired. He had been flying since three days ago from Singapore.
Someone told him a good news. He said that everybody can get food in Bandung.
Singapore had become so clean. The people put their trash in the trash bin. It
was hard to get to the food. The bird couldn’t live there anymore. So he decided to move to Bandung. A new city,
full of hope. When the bird arrived, he was so happy because people threw out their
food everywhere. He could eat anytime, anywhere he wanted. Finally he chose a
good spot for a nest. A place called home.
